FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

What does the service include?

The transfer only: the private vehicle, the professional driver, fuel, tolls and your luggage. We are not a tour operator — we do not include a guide, entrance fees to the attractions, meals or lodging. You plan your visit however you like and we handle the road.

Where do you run transfers from?

Our usual routes are Monterrey, Monterrey International Airport and Saltillo to Cuatro Ciénegas, round trip or one way. We also handle transfers within the municipality of Cuatro Ciénegas. If your origin is somewhere else, write to us and we will look into it.

What time do we leave?

Whenever you decide. The service is private and exclusive to your group, so you never depend on a scheduled departure or share the vehicle with other people. Tell us the day and pickup time and we are there.

Which vehicles do you operate?

Three vehicles depending on the size of your group: Chevrolet Suburban for up to 6 passengers, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for up to 12 and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter XL for up to 19. All with air conditioning and luggage space. You can pick the vehicle when you request your quote.

How much does the transfer cost?

Every transfer is quoted individually, because it depends on the origin and destination, whether it is round trip or one way, the number of passengers and the vehicle you choose. Fill in the quote request with those details and we reply with the exact price.

How far is Cuatro Ciénegas from Monterrey?

Around 320 km along the Saltillo bypass and the federal highway to Cuatro Ciénegas. The road is in good condition and we make whatever stops your group needs along the way.

Are a guide or entrance fees included?

No. We only handle the transfer. Entrance fees for Poza Azul, Mezquites River, the Gypsum Dunes and the other attractions are paid directly at each site, and guided tours are arranged there with the local operators.

Can you make stops along the way?

Yes. The vehicle is yours for the whole journey: stops to eat, for the restroom, to refuel or to take photos at the lookout. Just coordinate it with your driver.

Is it safe?

Our vehicles have up-to-date maintenance and current travel insurance. Our drivers are professionals with a federal licence and know the route to Cuatro Ciénegas in detail. The Monterrey–Cuatro Ciénegas road is a federal highway in good condition.

How do I book?

1) Send your quote request or message us on WhatsApp with origin, destination, date, number of passengers and vehicle. 2) We confirm availability and the price. 3) You hold the date with a deposit. 4) The balance is settled on the day of the transfer.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancel with enough notice and we refund the deposit in full; close to the date a penalty applies. If there is a weather emergency we reschedule at no cost. The exact terms are in our terms and conditions.

When is the best time to travel to Cuatro Ciénegas?

You can visit all year round. Spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November) are the most pleasant seasons, at 25-32°C. Summer is hotter but the pools are perfect for swimming. Winter is cool and quiet, with fewer visitors.

What should I bring?

Light, comfortable clothing, closed shoes, a swimsuit for Mezquites River, biodegradable sunscreen (mandatory at the pools), a hat, sunglasses, plenty of water and cash for entrance fees and local shops. If you are staying into the evening, bring a light jacket: the desert gets cold.
